P90

FN P90 is a type of Weapon Personal Defense weapon, this weapon is made by the Belgian weapon company FN Hersral. The making is an FN response to NATO countries requests for the replacement of previous weapons using bulleted 9 x 19 mm Parabellum and unable to penetrate bulletproof vests. The use of this weapon is more defensive, usually used by rear military personnel such as artillery crews, supply personnel, manned crew like tanks, planes, and helicopters, VIP security operations.FN P90 has a bullpup design with new innovations from FN that is the position of magazen that is at the top of the gun and the use of bullets 5.7 x 28 mm. This weapon was developed sometime between 1986 and 1990. In late 1999 a variant of this weapon was introduced under the name P90 TR (Triple Rail), this variant is equipped with three rails for the placement of accessories. In 2005 a sports shooting version of this weapon was introduced under the name of the PS90, with a semi-automatic capability and a longer barrel than the P90.This weapon uses a blowback system, closed bolt, with polymer material in most parts, except in the mechanism system, this is done so that the weapon has a light weight with cheaper production costs.

Although the initial design of this weapon is for self-defense, many of the elite forces in different countries use it like the Frog Troop (Kopaska) Command and the Special Forces (Kopassus) [14] of Indonesia.
