Pistol Luger

Luger P08, Pistole Parabellum 1908, Pistole 08, P08, or Parabellum-Pistole (Pistol Parabellum) also known as "Luger" [1] designed by Georg Luger (1849-1923). The term Parabellum comes from the Latin phrase: Si vis pacem, bellum which means if you crave peace, be prepared for war.

Georg J. Luger worked for the Loewe weapon company which later became DWM. He developed P08 based on Hugo Borchardts' Pistole C93, which was subsequently partially replaced with P38, Walther made. The first series of Parabellum Pistole appeared in 1900. Parabellum-Pistole 1900 used a 7.65 mm Parabellum bullet.
After that Georg J. Luger developed again by making improvements and simplification as well as the use of 9 mm Parabellum bullets.Artillerie-08 with magazen drum.
The German Empire navy began in 1904 using a Parabellum-Pistole Caliber 9 mm Parabellum known as "Pistole 04". In 1908, Pistole 08 was introduced as an organic pistol in the German Empire
