Smoking Grenade

Smoking grenade

The smoke grenade is a tin-shaped grenade that is used as a ground or terrestrial gesture into the air, a marker of a target zone or a landing, or a hiding of army movement. Smoke grenades are usually formed from metal cylinders with holes in the top and bottom to remove smoke. There are two main types of grenades: colored smoke grenades and hiding grenades. In colored smoke grenades, the fillers usually consist of 250 to 350 grams of a mixture of dye smoke (mostly potassium nitrate, lactose and dye). Available colors are red, green, yellow, and purple. Hidden smoke grenades usually contain a mixture of HC (hexachloroethane / zinc) or a mixture of TA (terephthalic acid).Another type of smoke grenade, is the type of smoke exploded. The grenade contains white phosphorus (WP). WP grenades explode and spread white phosphorus in all directions, then phosphorus burns when it meets the air, and burns with bright yellow flames, while producing a lot of white smoke (phosphorus pentoksida). It also serves as an incendiary grenade.
