RPG-7



RPG-7 (Russian: РПГ-7), is an anti tank rocket-propelled grenade launched from the much-produced shoulder. This weapon was designed by the Soviet Union, and its long name is Ручной Противотанковый Гранатомёт or Ručnoj Protivotankovyj Granatomjët, which means "anti tank grenade launcher".

This weapon is known to have high endurance, simple, cheap, and effective, making it the most widely used rocket-propelled grenade in the world. There are about 40 countries that use RPG-7, and these weapons are produced in nine countries. RPG-7 has been used in many conflicts in the world since the mid-1960s, from the Vietnam War to the present day Afghan War and Iraq War.


The RPG-7 was first introduced by the Soviet Union in 1961 and was used at the team level. The initial concept of this weapon is made based on weapons of World War II era, namely Bazoka USA and Germany Panzerfaust.
